ABOUT
The House of HERA SKIN
A small atelier devoted to the idea that skincare should feel like a private ceremony, not a checklist.
HERA SKIN began in a third-floor studio in Paris, where founder Margot Lelan tested formulas between ceramic glaze firings and long walks along the Canal Saint-Martin. The brand was born from a simple frustration: too many products asked too much of the skin, and of the person using them.
She set out to make fewer things, but better. Five formulas. Clean botanicals. Transparent percentages. Packaging quiet enough to live on a bedside table like a found object. Each product is a response to a real ritual moment — the soft sweep of a milk cleanser, the press of a serum into the palms, the final seal of a moisturizer before sleep.
We do not chase trends. We edit, refine, and release only when a formula earns its place in the line. This is skincare as a monograph: every chapter considered, every plate numbered.
PHILOSOPHY
Skin worth worshipping is skin worth listening to.
I. RESTRAINT
Five formulas. Nothing more. Each one designed to do one thing beautifully, without redundancy or filler.
II. TRANSPARENCY
We list every active percentage, every botanical source, and every preservation choice. No borrowed authority, no hidden blends.
III. RITUAL
The best skin days come from repetition, not intensity. Slow touch, warm water, and formulas that reward patience.
WHAT WE HOLD CONSTANT
Provenance, restraint, honesty.
Provenance
Every ingredient is traced to its source — oat milk from the Loire Valley, squalane from sustainable Spanish olives, rose extract distilled in Grasse. We work with growers who measure quality in seasons, not batches.
Restraint
We do not launch for the sake of novelty. Each formula spends at least eighteen months in development and wears only what is necessary. The shelf stays small on purpose.
Honesty
No miracle claims. No ingredient buried in fine print. Every bottle states exactly what is inside and exactly how we tested it. If a formula does not perform, it does not ship.
A NOTE FROM MARGOT LELAN
“I started HERA SKIN because I wanted fewer bottles, better silences, and a routine that felt like an offering instead of an obligation.”
Each morning I light a candle, warm the cleanser in my palms, and begin. The ritual is the product. The product is the ritual. That is the philosophy we bring to every bottle that leaves the atelier.
